Come experience the fantastic spring Striper season on the Hudson River. Capt. Chris runs the most successful charters in the Capital District. With over 25 years of experience fishing on the Hudson your best bet for the fish of the lifetime is in the boat with us.
Early Season Dates - 4/15 to 4/30
Before the larger schools of Herring move into the river, Stripers readily hit plugs and plastics either cast or trolled. The weather can be chilly but if you like to catch big Stripers on artificials this is when it's best. We start later in the day and can only accommodate two anglers so there is room to cast. Times are 9am to 3pm and rates are $300 two anglers only.
May Charters
This is almost an exclusive live-bait bite, drifting or at anchor. This is the time to bring the kids fishing. Charters are from 6am to 12pm or 1pm to 7pm. Rates are $375 for up to three anglers. Additional anglers are $100/per and we can accommodate up to six.
Evening and Night Charters
We offer a limited number of evening and night charters. These evening charters start at 4-5pm until 9-10pm for up to 4 angler. Rates are $400 per trip. We also have a very limited number of night charters please call or email for rates and dates.
